A Cute Spider .....

Hi Everyone!

Today I thought that I'd add a cute spider to my Halloween hall stand collection.

Doesn't he look cute on the Old Olive Spider DSP from Frightful Sight? Kind of like he's sitting on his spiders web! :)

The inspiration came from here although I did change it a bit. I decided my spider really needed 8 legs :) So I've done a mini tutorial to show you how I did it.

To make the legs small enough to fit around a 1 3/4" circle,  I punched 8 of the small corners in black cardstock with the Photo Corners punch (retired). I then punched 8 large corners from the same punch in old olive.

Attach the center corner of a small punched corner to the sticky edge of a post-it-note. This gives you something to hold onto while you repunch them.

Slide the corner into the large corner of the punch but don't push it in all the way. Just place it in about 2/3rd like the next photo and then punch

This is what you'll end up with

You then layer the smallest piece on top of the black small punched corners and arrange around the circle to create your spider.

You can leave it like it is or you can make a lollie and glue it on to create a bigger decoration.

I'm going to enter this cute little spider into this week's Monster Mash

And I've just realised that there is not a single stamp in sight on this project, so I'm also entering it into the UnstampaBelles Fall/Autumn challenge.

As always, I love reading your comments! If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask!
