Welcome to the first Stamp Spot Blog Hop!

This weekend, we'd love to share with you some inspiration for this months craft challenge (kids) , and also a chance to win some awesome prizes!  At each stop along the way, read the post carefully, as each blog will have a fun question for you to answer... (ie. What are your families traditions at Easter?) Answer the question to go in the draw for the prize from each blog!

If you've come from Jess D's blog, you're on the right track, if not, head to The Stamp Spot blog, and start from the beginning.

I decided to challenge myself to use some washi tape on my tags today. I've got quite a few rolls but never seem to use them!

The first tag is for a little boy who is turning 5

For this tag I've layered some green and white washi tape over the tag to create a patterend background and then I've just trimmed around the the edges to tidy it up. So easy and I love the effect! :) The numbers have been die cut using a MFT - Dienamics die. The number 5 has been cut from bright yellow felt that I had in my stash, to add some contrast and texture.

The next tag will be for my new niece, how is due next month. I can't wait to meet her! :)

I've used the same technique for the background, this time using pink and white chevron washi tape. I coloured in the Kaisercraft owl with Copics and popped it up on some foam dots over a baby onsie MFT Die-namics die. I think it turned out really cute!

Remember, to be in the running for some fantastic blog candy, don't forget to leave a comment on each blog! The winners will be chosen on Monday night.

My question is
"What is your favourite childhood memory?"

Next on the list is the lovely Jessica T.
Good luck!

Super cute tags!! Love the washi background.

One of my favorite childhood memories is probably going to the local antique/flea market with my grandparents. What meant the most to me was spending time with them.

I am a bit like you ... I must remind myself to use washi tape more! Wonderful tags Sandra - I like the boy with the numbers and his age highlighted.

Lovely tags Sandra. I don't remember much about my childhood but I remember that each year Mum made us a new dress for the Sunday School anniversary.
Another memory is riding on the elephant at the zoo. They don't have elephant rides at the zoo any more.

Beautiful tags, Sandra! I love your little owl! When I was a child I used to play a lot of sport and was very competitive. I couldn't wait for Saturday's to arrive so we could play. Living in Canberra meant it was so cold playing netball in winter but it didn't matter to me! Going away on bus trips to play sport left me lots of wonderful memories and laughs. xx

Great tags. I have been hoarding the washi too! Must use it more.

Favourite memory - that's tough. Time spent with my dad car & caravan trips or telling stories or just family bbqs. Now he isn't here to share with I miss those things the most.

Love your tags. My favorite childhood memory for Easter was wearing my new girly Easter dress, hat, frilly socks and new shows. Our family tradition was to wear new clothes to church on Easter Sunday. We always went to visit our grandmother for Easter and she liked us to go with her to church on Easter Sunday.
