Hi Everyone!
I have been a long time follower of the amazingly talented Nikki Spencer so when I saw that this weeks JAI theme was to CASE Nikki, I just knew that I had to play along! The only problem was which card to CASE :)
This is the gorgeous card that I chose to CASE (you can find Nikki's original blog post here)
and here's my take on it -
I was inspired by so many things on Nikki's card. On the 2nd layer there was the stitching around the top half and the crimping along the bottom. I don't have a crimper, so I substituted with the Stripes embossing folder. For the centre panel, I've used MFT Die-namic Upsey Daisies die. I also loved how Nikki did her ribbon so I've attached it with an antique brad and flagged the end.
