The Paper Players #53 A Sketch



Hi Everyone!

Time for another challenge over at The Paper Players. This week Leslie has a great sketch for you all to try. Can I just say that I loved this sketch so much, I didn't just make one card this week ........ I made two!! :)

Here's the sketch -

My first card -


I've clear embossed the Cherry Cobbler background with the swirly stamp from Elements of Style. If you click on the "Tutorial" tab under the header, you will find the instructions to make the ribbon carnations.

And my second -

Sandra, I just love what you did with both cards for the sketch. I'm loving those beautiful carnations on the first card. Thank you so much for sharing the tutorial, too. I love both of these, and it is so cool that you did such different styles on each one! I need to check out your tutorial on the ribbon flowers--I made one once, but it was by accident, so I have no idea how to do it again! LOL!

Sandra wow... both cards are great but the cobbler is my favorite. I love the deep rich color of cherry cobbler. I think it's one of my all time favorite SU colors.
