jac-inks #2

This is my 2nd post today so be sure to scroll down to see my other card.

This week jac-inks has a sketch challenge. As soon as I seen the sketch I was intrigued. It's certainly different from anything that I've made before but I suppose that's what challenges are all about, aren't they?

Here's the sketch -
And my card -

I've changed the sketch around a bit as a don't have a bigger oval die and it just looked silly. I've also used some of the first ever DSP that I bought from Stampin' Up! many years ago. I loved it so much I didn't want to cut it up!! I think it works beautifully with the rose from Happiness Shared. What do you think? I love to read your comments *smile*

I would also like to say that my thoughts and prayers are with the people of Christchurch, New Zealand and the surrounding areas. I've been watching the coverage of the earthquake all afternoon. It's just so heart breaking. To all my NZ blogging friends, I hope that you, your families and friends are all safe and well. Please take care.

Thanks for stopping by!
Sandra

Sandra your card is just beautiful! I love the way you've put your own spin on the sketch - good to see another stamper stamp outside of the square - or the oval in our case :-) Jenni (J-I DT)
