Tilda ......
I recently found this gorgeous image of Tilda and couldn't resist her especially with my current obsession with water colouring. This card was my first with her and even though my water colouring is far from perfect, I'm really happy with how she turned out. Not bad for a first attempt *smile*
I'm entering this card into the sketch challenge at Card Patterns and Just Magnolia anything goes with buttons.
Here's the sketch -
And my card -
The button that I've used is from my Grandmothers stash that she gave me and is a perfect match to Stampin' Up!'s Rose Red. And see that pretty flower DSP? I made that using the little flower stamp out of the Tiny Tags set. It took awhile having to re ink in the two colours after each stamping but I think it was worth it.
If anyone has any tips on how to keep the Stampin' Up brown inks looking brown and not reddish when water colouring with an aqua painter (see her hair) I'd love to hear them. Please leave me a comment or you can email me.
Thanks for stopping by!
Sandra

Wow Sandra this card is gorgeous! It's turned out beautifully.
Love your dsp too, well worth the effort of re-inking your rubber so many times.
Can't wait to see more!
Darling card...I love that YOU stamped the paper...it totally looks like DSP! Fabulous job! Thanks for joining us at Card Patterns!
